Dr. Adam Brown is a lifelong resident of North Carolina, growing up in Raleigh, before spending time in Greenville, Chapel Hill, and then finally Charlotte. He received his BS in Construction Management from East Carolina University, which he used over his 13-year career in the residential home building and Real Estate industries. But building smiles was part of his family — Dr. Brown’s father is Dr. Don Brown, who founded Carolina’s Dental Choice to be later named Adam Brown, DDS along with several other practices. The young Brown returned to school to earn his doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and joined the family practice. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Brown lives in Charlotte with his wife and two kids. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially if it’s on the lake or the golf course.

Dr. Sameer Kashyap grew up in the South Charlotte area and received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to receive his DMD from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. After dental school, Dr. Kashyap completed a 1-year advanced general dentistry residency through Lutheran Medical Center in Arizona. Once he moved back to Charlotte, Dr. Kashyap became active in the community, volunteering at several free dental clinics with organizations such as the NCDFS Missions of Mercy. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.

Dr. Kashyap is a strong believer that good oral health can lead to better overall health and self-confidence. He feels lucky to be able to play a part in his patients’ journey to achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Kashyap is passionate about not only treating but also educating his patients so that they are comfortable and confident with their treatment. Dr. Kashyap is also dedicates himself to furthering his own dental education. He strives to stay up to date with new techniques and technology that can improve his patients’ experience. Dr. Kashyap practices all aspects of general dentistry, but is particularly interested in dental implants, sleep apnea appliances, and InvisAlign orthodontic treatment.

In his spare time, Dr. Kashyap enjoys spending time with his wife and puppy. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, cheering on the Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers, and spending as much time outdoors as possible!

After living in North Carolina for more than 25 years, Donna likes to call this home, but she’s actually a native Floridian from Ft. Myers, Florida. She moved to N.C. in 1991 to attend Wingate University. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree, she then returned to school to pursue dental hygiene and obtained her Dental Hygiene License in 1998. Donna has been practicing dental hygiene in this office ever since. What she enjoys the most is developing relationships with patients, learning about their families and watching their children grow into young adults. She believes a person’s smile says so much; in itself it can tell a story.

Donna and her husband, John, have two very active boys/young men, Andrew and Carson. They are her heartbeat. Her greatest joy is simply spending time with her family members and being their biggest cheerleader in all that they do. At military events, karate classes, swim meets, church activities and ice hockey games, she’s their biggest fan, and there is nowhere else she rather be.

Donna is passionate about giving back by volunteering her time at the Union County Shelter, using her dental hygiene skills on the Baptist Men’s Dental Bus Mission, and speaking to school age children about the importance of dental hygiene. She is an avid sports fan, with a soft spot for football and hockey.

Becky was born in West Virginia and then moved to North Carolina in 1998. She started her dental career at a young age through vocational college and later furthered her studies by taking on-job training to gain certificates and experience. Becky always strives to be a good dental assistant and is eager to learn and adjust to the ever-changing routine at the dental office.

Becky enjoys hiking as well as taking time to enjoy the little things in life that many do not stop to appreciate. She is happily married to her husband, Scott, with two teenage children, Tanner and Ashley; she also has a very young grandson named Kingston. Many would say she is easy to get along with, fun to be around, and is always there to listen to anyone’s problems in life.

Sondra attended the North Carolina Dental Assistant Training School, has been working as a dental assistant since 2015, and joined Adam Brown DDS in July 2017. She seeks to ensure her patients are comfortable at each appointment so they always have a positive dental experience. She strives to build relationships with her patients and finds their trust very important and rewarding. She truly loves and appreciates the exceptional care Adam Brown DDS offers to all of the patients!

In her free time, Sondra enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a proud mother to a beautiful little girl named Paityn. Some of Sondra’s favorite things are country music, shopping, going to the beach, and the Carolina Panthers!

Lexi was born and raised in Buford, SC where she attended Buford High School.  She graduated from York Technical College of Rock Hill, SC in 2018.  Lexi graduated with her Associates in Applied Science as well as Expanded Duty Dental Assisting Diploma. 

Lexi has now joined the Administrative team and uses her passion and knowledge of dental assisting to aid in her skills at the front desk.  She enjoys welcoming patients and having them leave with a smile.  Lexi and her boyfriend, Zach, have two dogs named Duke and Bandit. They love going to the lake, fishing and traveling to West Virginia to visit family. 

Benita is a native of Union County. Benita has been a part of the dental community for more than three decades. Her dental experience and knowledge working with our patient’s daily has helped provide excellent service to all. Knowing from the beginning that dentistry was a great fit for her, Benita’s passion quickly grew into a true love for every facet of her position with patient care high on her list of priorities.

She has been happily married for 40 plus years, enjoying a beautiful family of two children and five grandchildren. In her free time, Benita enjoys working in her church, gardening, and spending as much time as possible with her family.

Skylar was born and raised in Monroe, N.C. In 2015 she graduated from Union Academy High School and then attended the Dental Staff Institute of Charlotte, graduating in 2016. Although a Dental Assistant by trade, Skylar is also a vital piece of the administrative team. With a smile on her face, Skylar always strives to provide patients with the best care making sure their experience at Carolina’s Dental Choice is nothing short of fantastic.

Skylar recently married in May 2018. She and her husband Justin have a German Short-Haired Pointer “fur-baby” named Tucker. She enjoys many outdoor activities, especially going to the pool, grilling out, fishing and family time.

Megan was born and raised in Pageland, SC where she attended Central High School. She graduated from Northeastern Technical College as a Certified Medical Office Assistant. Since joining the Administrative department at Adam Brown DDS, she has loved being able to meet new people, as well as working with a great time.

Megan is happily married to her husband, Lucas. They enjoy spending time with friends and family, along with activities like hunting, fishing, and visiting Disney any chance they get! All their remaining free time is spent with their two (very spoiled) “fur babies”, Jake and Duke.
